Fanny Wiard fell in love with Bharatanatyam as a child. The incredible richness and depth of this demanding dance fascinated her instantly!
She started her training with Kalpana in Paris, whose generous yet rigorous teaching encouraged her to go and learn this traditional art at its source, in India. Therefore, she has been living in Chennai for the past 2 years where she is training under Kalaimamani Kuttalam Selvam and Sangeeta Isvaran for Abhinaya (face expression).
Curious, she is also learning Carnatic singing and Kalari to complement her dance practice.
Creative and full of enthusiam, she is now excelling at telling stories with her eyes and grace.
